Silkmen secure signing of Reed
The 23-year-old, who started his career at Yeovil, has put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal at Moss Rose.
Reed has previously enjoyed spells with Yeovil, Forest Green, Woking, Aldershot, Torquay, Weston Super Mare, Cambridge and Weymouth.
The Barstaple-born left-back becomes Keith Alexander's second addition of the summer following the arrival of striker Ben Wright earlier this week.
Reed will link up with his new team-mates for pre-season training on July 1.
