The forward, who began his career at QPR and had trials with Middlesbrough and Liverpool before joining Leicester in summer of 2007, will stay with the Silkmen until the end of December. The 19-year-old made his only senior appearance for the Foxes to date in his first season, coming off the bench to replace Carl Cort in the second half of a 2-1 Championship defeat to Southampton. Sappleton, who could feature against the Millers this weekend, said: "I'm pleased to be here and I'm looking forward to playing games and hopefully getting some goals." However, club captain Shaun Hessey and midfielder Nat Brown are nursing knee and shin injuries respectively and have yet to feature this season. Brown has been making steady progress in training and could be as close as a week or two away from a return to action. Hessey is expected to return to action within four or five weeks, while Steffen Backer-Rowley suffered a broken collarbone in a youth-team game and looks set to be out for several weeks.
