Silkmen boss making transfer moves
The Silkmen endured a desperately disappointing campaign which saw them languishing in the lower reaches of League Two.
A number of players have since been released and Alexander insists new blood will be brought in over the coming weeks.
He said: "We know the players we want to bring into this club and we are a long way down the line in speaking with them.
"I know fans thinking about buying their season ticket want to see some kind of intent.
"I understand that, but increasingly over the last few seasons most of the transfer activity doesn't tend to start until you get well into June."
