Silkmen boss in confident mood
The Silkmen head to Saltergate without a win in their last four outings but Alexander saw a number of encouraging signs during last weekend's 1-1 draw at home to Barnet.
Victory for Macclesfield would lift them above the Spireites and Alexander said: "We got a good point against Barnet last Saturday and that is something for us to build on.
"We've done okay on the road this season, losing just the once at Crewe and it's up to us to go there and compete."
