Utility player Brown showed no adverse reaction to his shin injury in last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Crewe and should again feature. Striker Ben Wright has missed the last two games due to a groin strain but has started running again and could be involved at Moss Rose. Fellow frontman Kyle Wilson is nursing a similar injury sustained in training but is unlikely to be passed fit to face the Bees. Meanwhile, defender Shaun Hessey is still undergoing rehabilitation for a knee injury and is around three or four weeks away from a return. Steffan Backer-Rowley will be out for six to eight weeks with a broken collarbone and Scott Beckett is still suffering from an infection.
