Sappleton still on sidelines
Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson is still without the services of striker Ricky Sappleton ahead of the home clash with Port Vale.
Sappleton remains sidelined with a knee injury and midfielder Richard Butcher is still out of action with a similar complaint.
Matt Hamshaw has picked up a slight thigh strain and Paul Bolland was suffering with a tight hamstring in last weekend's win at Wycombe but both men will hope to be passed fit.
That could leave Sappleton and Butcher as the Silkmen's only definite absentees as they aim to build on their 2-1 success at Adams Park.
It was their first league win of the season and Simpson said: "The more points we've got on the table the more confident we'll be."
