Rooney 'wrapped in cotton wool'
Rooney, younger brother of England star Wayne, has been linked with a big-money move to Southampton.[LNB]Alexander, who saw his goalkeeper Jon Brain keep Aldershot at bay with a string of fine saves, said: "A lot of teams are looking at John (Rooney) and there are a lot of offers on the table.[LNB]"We didn't play him because we have to be careful he doesn't get injured.[LNB]"The blustery conditions wouldn't have suited him anyway and we'll keep him for the home game next week."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
