New striker set for Macc debut
Alexander recently moved to strengthen his attacking resources by signing the former Liverpool trainee on a short-term contract.[LNB]However, Lindfield's hopes of making his bow for the Silkmen have so far been scuppered after recent matches against Morecambe, Notts County and Bury fell victim to the big freeze.[LNB]The postponements have at least allowed a number of Alexander's players to shake off minor knocks, but midfield duo Ross Draper and Hamza Bencherif remain absent.[LNB]Draper is nursing a hernia problem and Bencherif suffered a fractured ankle in the 3-0 defeat at Rochdale on December 5.[LNB]The Algerian is unlikely to feature again before the end of the campaign.[LNB][LNB]
