New defender set for Macc debut
The left-sided player, who is the brother of Manchester City midfielder Vincent Kompany, joined the Silkmen after impressing in two trial games and is set to be in the squad.[LNB]Striker Craig Lindfield picked up a knock in last weekend's goalless draw at home to Accrington and will be assessed.[LNB]Paul Bolland (groin) and Ricky Sappleton (hamstring) are also nursing injuries but could yet be passed fit, although Carl Tremarco (hernia) remains sidelined for another fortnight.[LNB]Kris Dennis (shin), Matt Lowe (dead leg) and Paul Morgan (hamstring) are also set to miss out while midfielder Hamza Bencherif remains a long-term absentee with a broken ankle and may not feature again this season.[LNB][LNB]
