Morgan worry for Macc

Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson will assess the fitness of defender Paul Morgan ahead of the trip to Hereford. Morgan was carried off on a stretcher after just 10 minutes of last week's 4-2 home defeat at the hands of his former club Bury with severe swelling to his foot. He will hope to be passed fit but defenders Carl Tremarco and Shaun Brisley will remain sidelined with hip injuries as Simpson looks to engineer an upturn in fortunes. Assistant boss Glyn Chamberlain said: "Shaun Brisley is getting ever closer. Carl Tremarco is also progressing well and is perhaps a few weeks behind Shaun. "We're going to need as many fit bodies as we can in the coming weeks as the games are coming thick and fast."
