Morgan suffers injury blow
Macclesfield defender Paul Morgan could be out of action for up to eight weeks after suffering a wrist injury during pre-season training.
Morgan fell awkwardly in a training session leaving him with suspected cartilage damage to his wrist.
Silkmen boss Gary Simpson said: "It's a real blow to us to lose Paul for pre-season.
"He's in a cast at the moment and will be seeing a specialist this week so we will know more about how long he will be out for after that.
"But knowing Morgs he'll be back as soon as he can."
