Morgan break rocks Macc

Macclesfield have been dealt a huge blow with the news that captain Paul Morgan is set to miss the rest of the season. The defender fell awkwardly on his right arm during the victory over Morecambe and is thought to have suffered a broken wrist. The 32-year-old couldn't continue and was taken straight to hospital. It is the same wrist which Morgan broke in the summer, which forced him to miss the start of the season. Morgan had only just returned from an ankle injury and vice captain, Nat Brown, expressed sympathy for his captain. He said: "When he's out there he gives 100%. He broke his arm while making a good tackle but we all wish the lad good luck." Morgan will be consoled that the Silkmen's recent form has seen them win three from their last five games to surge 12 points clear of the bottom two with two games in hand.
