Macclesfield have requested a personal hearing after accepting a charge of misconduct from the Football Association following a violent confrontation during Saturday's match against Macclesfield. Players from both teams were involved in a major flare-up in stoppage-time at the end of the match, which saw Macclesfield's Emile Sinclair and Ricky Sappleton sent off along with Dave Winfield. Wycombe won the League Two match 1-0. Macclesfield have been charged with a breach of FA rule E20(a) - a failure to ensure that players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion &/or refrained from provocative and/or violent behaviour. The club said in a statement on their official website: "The club has not appealed either of the red cards issued to Macclesfield Town players during the game and is currently reviewing the actions it intends to take to ensure that it avoids such charges in the future."
