Jennings, 21, has missed the past three games with a knee injury sustained during the 3-1 defeat against Gillingham on February 21 and has visited a specialist. Silkmen physio Nick Reid said: "There were some anomalies on the original scan which required a second opinion. "The specialist has confirmed that there's nothing untoward and it is a grade 2 medial lateral ligament injury. "JJ is therefore looking at anywhere between six to nine weeks to recover. Given the end of the season is only eight and a half weeks away there's an outside chance he could be back but at this stage it is more unlikely he will. But we certainly having given up hope." Reid also confirmed that Ahmed Deen will be available to face Darlington this weekend after an eye injury.
