Macc boss set to ring the changes
The Silkmen have struggled badly this term and Alexander has admitted his current playing squad are simply not up to the job.
He said: "You look around the pitch and we've got no leaders and we're not big and strong.
"I'm pleased that most of the squad are out of contract this summer and I can do something about it.
"We've already got three or four offers in for players that I want to be here next season and we'll compete a lot better than we have done this season."
