Lindfield poised to face Cobblers
Alexander recently moved to strengthen his attacking resources by signing the former Liverpool trainee on a short-term contract.[LNB]Lindfield's hopes of making his bow for the Silkmen have so far been scuppered after recent matches against Morecambe, Notts County, Bury and Saturday's originally scheduled clash against the Cobblers fell victim to the weather.[LNB]The postponements have at least allowed a number of Alexander's players to shake off minor knocks, but midfield duo Ross Draper and Hamza Bencherif remain absent.[LNB]Draper is nursing a hernia problem and Bencherif suffered a fractured ankle in the 3-0 defeat at Rochdale on December 5.[LNB]The Algerian is unlikely to feature again before the end of the campaign.[LNB][LNB]
