Injury woe for Macc

Macclesfield manager Gary Simpson again has a number of injury absentees ahead of his side's trip to Rotherham. Striker Emile Sinclair and defender Paul Morgan have hamstring problems, midfielder Richard Butcher still has a knee injury and Shaun Brisley is out with a hip problem. However, forward Ricky Sappleton was on the bench at the weekend for the first time after his split knee-cap last season. Simpson has no other major injury or suspension concerns as his side seek to build on Saturday`s 2-1 home win over Burton. Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido accused the Silkmen of being a long-ball team after the game but Simpson retorted: "I'm pleased that he thinks we're a difficult place to come because I want people to be worried and thinking this is a hard place to come."
