Emile brace downs Cliftonville

11 July 2010 17:31
Emile Sinclair scored a brace as Macclesfield picked up a 2-1 win at Cliftonville. Sinclair opened the scoring after Richard Butcher and Hamza Bencherif combined in midfield before finding Tyrone Barnett on the right wing. Barnett was able to beat his man and cross for Sinclair who calmly finished from close range. Former Nottingham Forest striker Sinclair doubled the lead moments before half-time with an identical finish from another Barnett delivery. The home side were awarded a penalty shortly after the break when Carl Pentney brought down Stephen Garrett and George McMullan converted from the spot.
