Cudworth: I could have gone elsewhere

Jack Cudworth has revealed he rejected offers from elsewhere to sign for Macclesfield. The promising 19-year-old goalkeeper, who arrived from Welsh side Rhyl, admits other clubs were keen to secure his services, including an unnamed League Two rival, but his heart was set on a move to the Moss Rose. "I had a couple of offers to play and one was from another League Two side," he told Town`s official website. "But I liked what I`d seen so far at Macclesfield and we seem to have a great team spirit here at the club. "I saw Matt Hamshaw`s comments when he signed and he`s right that the atmosphere here is really good and it looks like being a great club to play for."
