Macclesfield's assistant manager Glyn Chamberlain is hoping his side can gather real momentum after seeing them run out deserved 3-1 winners at Torquay. Hamza Bencherif's opener was cancelled out by Torquay's Elliot Benyon, but Ross Draper thumped in a 76th-minute volley and then striker Emile Sinclair went solo from the halfway line before slotting in a brilliant third. Chamberlain said: "It's a massive win for us and will certainly make the coach trip home a little bit better wont it? "We have got a lot of young players in the team who have not got a great deal of Football League experience but the more results we get the more confident they will get. "Hopefully this result will go will go some way to putting us on a bit of a run and getting us up the table. "They were three terrific goals from our point of view and will fill the side with confidence ahead of Tuesday's match at Crewe."
