Butcher has key role - Alexander
Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander believes midfielder Richard Butcher will prove a key figure for his side in the coming weeks.
Alexander returned to his former club Lincoln to sign Butcher on a month's emergency loan earlier this week.
He scored on his debut for the Silkmen in Tuesday's defeat at Bury and Alexander is confident he will continue to prosper.
He said: "We've been struggling in that department so I was pleased to bring him in.
"He put in a good, solid performance at Bury and will get better as he gets fitter."
