Brown closing in on Silkmen return
Brown has yet to feature for the Silkmen this term due to a shin injury but he is making steady progress in his recovery.
Assistant manager Gary Simpson said: "We have another reserve match next week against Walsall so he'll have a chance to get a game.
"If everything goes to plan he could be available for selection in a fortnight."
