The striker cancelled out an Emile Sinclair goal as the Brewers picked up their first point in three games, while the Silkmen are still chasing their first away win of the season.[LNB]Artur Krysiak came to Burton's rescue early on when his out-stretched leg kept out a Ben Wright shot in the seventh minute. But the best efforts of the Polish keeper could not prevent Macclesfield from taking the lead in the 12th minute.[LNB]Sinclair surged onto a John Rooney pass and fired home at the second attempt after Krysiak had parried his initial shot. Burton clawed their way back on to level terms with Pearson's well-taken goal in the 37th minute.[LNB]Richard Walker and John McGrath linked on the edge of the area to open the way for Pearson to angle a 12-yard shot past Jon Brain. The contest struggled to come back to life after the interval, though Brain was tested by a Pearson shot and Robin Shroot's 25-yard free-kick.[LNB]Macclesfield's best chance to regain the lead fell to Nat Brown, but the big defender headed narrowly wide from a Rooney corner. Ryan Austin almost stole it for Burton with a header in added time.[LNB][LNB]
