Bell extends contract with Silkmen

The former Crewe trainee revealed he had offers from rivals clubs but was happy to stay with Keith Alexander's side. Bell told the club's official website: "I've really enjoyed my time at the Moss Rose. It is a very well run club with lots of good people and that's an important part of the decision to commit for another year. "The temptation is often to go out there and chase the best deal possible in terms on money. I know players at clubs who aren't getting paid and that can be very unsettling. "Stability is increasingly something you look for and Macc, thanks to the owners, the board and the gaffer, seem to have their head screwed on when it comes to their finances."
