Barnett chomping at bit
New Macclesfield recruit Tyrone Barnett is raring to go ahead of this weekend's npower League Two opener at Stevenage.
The striker was signed during the summer from Hednesford Town for an undisclosed fee and has formed a promising partnership with Emile Sinclair during pre-season.
He is hoping his impressive form will earn him a place in the starting line-up when the Silkmen travel to newly-promoted Stevenage on Saturday.
Barnett said: "I'm not taking anything for granted but I'm really looking forward to my League debut.
"Scoring goals in pre-season gives you form and confidence going into the season and I don't see why we can't take it into the season on Saturday."
