Alexander wary of Cherries threat

The Silkmen have struggled for consistency all season and Tuesday's 2-0 defeat to Accrington - their 10th home defeat of the campaign - has left them 13 points above second-bottom Grimsby. Relegation is unlikely but Alexander remains cautious and has hailed beleaguered Bournemouth, who have won three of their last five games to move out of the drop zone, despite starting the season on minus 17 points. "Bournemouth on Saturday will be tricky," said Alexander ahead of the Moss Rose clash. "They're a good team and if they hadn't had the points deducted they'd be around the play-offs. "I'm still not certain if we're safe and our form at the minute is certainly not good."
