Alexander unfazed at history-making

It was the first time in the 138-year history of the competition that two professional clubs with British-born black managers at the helm have met.[LNB]But that was of little consolation to Alexander after Gobern's 25th-minute strike handed Dons boss Paul Ince victory over his former club.[LNB]"I'm sure the fact two black managers have met in the FA Cup is important to a lot of people but I'm a football manager first and foremost - the fact I'm black is incidental," said Alexander. "We need more black people in the boardroom and until that changes nothing changes.[LNB]"It was the worst possible draw we could have had but we acquitted ourselves very well and we could have got a result with a bit more luck. Our keeper was magnificent and as a unit we played very well. If we had got the ball forward quicker in the second half we might have caused them more problems as I felt we over-passed it at times. But we are getting better with every game."[LNB]"We all wanted a good run in the cup but getting up the league table is our main priority."[LNB][LNB]
