The Silkmen have moved away from the relegation zone after two wins and a draw from their last three matches and Alexander is determined build on their recent improvement.[LNB]The much-travelled 53-year-old's previous deal was due to expire in the summer and he is pleased to have put pen to paper on a new contract.[LNB]He said: "People who know me know that I will give my all for the club and I am delighted to be working for the chairman and the board of directors here at Macclesfield Town.[LNB]"There is nothing worse than players and managers coming and going and never being able to settle and gel together and now we have stability and a real opportunity to build. My next job is to continue talks with the players about their futures with the club.[LNB]"I want to continue to improve on our performances of late and in the season in general, and in particular to build on the recent run we've had and climb the League table. Whilst we're not going to make any grand statements, we've all got an eye on where we think we can finish the season."[LNB][LNB]
