Alexander seals Butcher reunion
Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander has returned to his former club Lincoln to sign midfielder Richard Butcher on a month's emergency loan.
The Silkmen were keen to bolster their squad following injuries to Hamza Bencherif and Ross Draper.
Butcher could make his debut in Tuesday's trip to Bury and Alexander said: "I know him as a player although it's been a few years since we were at the same club together.
"He's a very experienced midfielder with good attacking ability and he will be a good addition to the squad here. I'm very happy to have been able to bring him in."
