Alexander rues defensive lapses

Despite a fairly even encounter with plenty of chances for both side's Alexander was annoyed with his side after they twice lost the lead. Mathew Tipton and Ross Draper had given the lead on two separate occasions but Michael Twiss and Artell responded for the hosts. Alexander said: "I thought we were the better team from start to finish. I thought we played really well in the first half especially and should have won the game by then really. "We created three or four great chances but their keeper has made some good saves and at the other end we gave away a second goal I really wasn't happy with as they put a ball into the box and we didn't defend it well enough. "I am happy overall with the progress we have made so far this season but I would like to see us defend better at set pieces and if we do that we will make even more progress."
