Alexander banking on Tipton

Tipton has come back for a third spell at Moss Rose, signing a one-year deal following his departure from Blue Square North outfit Droylsden earlier in the summer. The 29-year-old striker is the club's all-time top scorer in the Football League and Alexander is wanting more of the same in the forthcoming campaign. "We need to score some goals and hopefully 'Tippy' can do that for us," Alexander told the Manchester Evening News. "He is enthusiastic and good to have about the place. But he knows this is probably his last chance at this level so hopefully it will bring the best out of him."
