Lyon winger Bastos signs contract extension

Lyon's Brazilian international winger Michel Bastos has signed a two-year contract extension, the Ligue 1 club announced on Wednesday.
Bastos joined the seven-time French champions from Lille in June 2009 for a fee of 18 million euros ($24.4 million) on a four-year deal. His new deal will keep him at the club until the summer of 2015.
The 28-year-old, who played for Brazil at last year's World Cup, has enjoyed a fine start to this season, scoring twice to help his club to second place in Ligue 1.
They are level on points with leaders Paris Saint-Germain, who they face this weekend.
