Lyon left it late to earn a 3-1 win at Lorient that lifted them into Ligue 1's Champions League qualification places.

Alexandre Lacazette scored twice as Les Gones came from 1-0 down to win and move into third place, three points behind second-placed Monaco.

Majeed Waris put the Bretons in front after 36 minutes, but Lacazette equalised before half-time.

Rachid Ghezzal struck a second after 81 minutes and Lacazette's ninth goal in his last nine games followed three minutes later.

The win, after champions Paris St Germain beat Nice on Saturday and Monaco were beaten by Bordeaux on Friday night, enhanced Lyon's bid for Champions League football next term.

Lille kept their European qualification hopes alive by moving seventh with a 3-0 win at Nantes.

Eder scored twice and Stoppila Sunzu was also on target as Lille climbed above Caen on goal difference.

Bastia moved within a point of 10th-placed Nantes with a 2-1 win over Marseille, who are now winless in nine Ligue 1 games.

A Karim Rekik own goal and Gael Danic penalty saw Bastia go two ahead before Michy Batshuayi pulled a goal back.

Marseille's hopes of a second were hit when Romain Alessandrini received a straight red card after 85 minutes for an off-the-ball incident.
