Town happy to keep Craddock
13 Nov 2008 - 07:25:52
Middlesbrough striker Tom Craddock has agreed to extend his loan stay with Luton Town for a second month.
The 22-year-old moved to Kenilworth Road in mid-October after Peterborough United reportedly reneged on a deal to send Scott Rendell to Town, and has scored three times in six starts for Mick Harford's struggling side.
Hatters director Antony Brown told the club's official website: "We're delighted to have secured Tom's services for another month.
"It's the question we've been asked most by supporters over the last couple of weeks and I think that that speaks volumes for how well Tom has settled in and the contribution he's made.
"We'd like to thank the supporters for their patience in this and we'd also like to thank Tom, who we believe had the opportunity to move elsewhere.
"It's a testament to his character that he wanted to stay at Luton to help us in our situation."
