Luton Town boss Mike Newell is relishing the prospect of pitting his wits against former club Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, after the Hatters beat QPR 1-0 at Kenilworth Road in a tight FA Cup third round replay.
Town sealed a place in the last 32 of the competition thanks to Zesh Rehman's own goal and Newell is delighted to now have a tie against a club he played more than 150 games for in the mid-1990s.
"You don't always get what you deserve in the cup but maybe we were meant to get Blackburn," said the controversial 42-year-old.
"It's nice to get a tie against your old club and I had five of my best years there.
"I just hope we've got enough players left because the way they've been playing away lately it could be embarrassing."
