Nicholls faces FA charge

The Football Association has charged Luton Town captain Kevin Nicholls with improper conduct following last month's controversial 3-3 draw with Bradford City. Nicholls has been given until February 23 to respond to the charges. After a tempestuous match both managers, Mick Harford and Stuart McCall, slammed the performance of referee Trevor Kettle. Luton striker Chris Martin was red carded while McCall was dismissed from the touchline by Kettle, who was described by Harford as 'incompetent." Both managers were charged with improper conduct.
