Luton recall Parkin early

Leyton Orient have agreed to terminate the loan of striker Sam Parkin, who has now returned to Luton Town.

Parkin's loan at Orient was due to expire at the end of the current week, but the club have agreed to let him return early to take part in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy semi-final.

The 29-year-old will take his place in the Hatters squad for the clash with Brighton on Tuesday evening.

Parkin failed to score during his time out on loan, despite playing 16 times.
