Kiely rejects fall-out talk

Luton Town's on loan goalkeeper Dean Kiely has rubbished reports that he and fellow Hatters custodian Marlon Beresford are at loggerheads.

Kiely was drafted into the Championship club on a short-term contract from Portsmouth last week and went straight into the side that faced Southampton last weekend.

Town boss Mike Newell revealed that his decision had upset former number one Beresford, but Kiely insists there are no problems between the two experienced keepers.

"We go back a long way. Everything is just fine," Kiely told Luton's official website.

"I can tell you that as soon as I walked through the door he shook my hand and within five minutes we were chatting and laughing.

"We have a good relationship."
