Luton Town have signed Cardiff City goalkeeper David Forde on an initial one-month loan.

The 27-year-old joined the Bluebirds in December 2006 from Derry City and played seven times for City last season.

However, this term he has had to play second fiddle to summer recruit to loan signing Ross Turnbull, who has joined from Middlesbrough.

Forde moves to Kenilworth Road to provide cover for injuries to Dean Brill and Marlon Beresford.

Earlier on in his career, Forde spent two years with West ham United, as well as spending time on loan at Barnet.
