Luton Town are sweating on the fitness of Paul Furlong after the veteran striker injured his hamstring in the Carling Cup defeat by Everton.
The 39-year-old hitman limped off in the early stages of the Hatters' 1-0 defeat by the Premier League club on Wednesday evening and could miss Saturday's trip to Brighton.
"Paul will be doubtful for Saturday and it leaves us a few headaches in attack," manager Kevin Blackwell told the club's official website.
"We have now lost Furlong, (Sam) Parkin, (Paul) Peschisolido and (Drew) Talbot. So we are down to the bare bones.
"But the players who played against Everton were fantastic and that is all I'm really concerning myself with at the moment."
