Luton Town have handed a first professional contract to youth team graduate Ed Asafu-Adjaye.
The teenage defender was named on the bench for three Championship matches last season and has been rewarded with a one-year contract by Hatters boss Kevin Blackwell.
"I don't feel any pressure," he told the club's official website.
"I was absolutely delighted to be handed a chance in the senior squad and although I've enjoyed the last two years being a scholar, this is a massive step forward for me.
"I've got to establish myself like a lot of the other young pros that have been here and gone on to make it.
"I'm looking forward to the challenge and hopefully I will get the chance to show what I can do."
