Luton Town boss Mick Harford says his current job is the toughest task of his managerial career to date.
Harford is trying to steer the Hatters away from the relegation places in League One, but faces a major test with the Kenilworth Road club strapped for cash and having been forced to sell a number of players last month.
"I've had some massive challenges at Rotherham, Nottingham Forest and QPR, but this is the toughest of the lot," Harford said after the 1-0 home loss to Leyton Orient.
"Hopefully there will be a good future for the club, but right now it's very difficult for everyone here.
"The effort, the commitment and work-rate of the players was first-class but, just at the moment, things aren't going our way.
"Unfortunately the club is on a bit of a downer and you seem to get these sorts of results in those situations."
