Luton Town manager Mick Harford was downcast after seeing his side beaten 3-0 at Shrewsbury Town at the weekend.
The loss left the Hatters still 20 points adrift of safety in League Two, having started the season with a crippling 30-point deduction.
Harford commented: "I'm very disappointed. We had a little spell in the first half, but we weren't really at the races and the ball retention wasn't really very good.
"If you keep giving the ball away it will end up in the back of the net and it did three times.
"In terms of making decisions on and off the ball we were very average. We weren't good and got what we deserved."
