FA gets tough with agents

The Football Association has charged agent Charles Collymore with a breach of regulations following information provided by Luton Town manager Mike Newell.
Licensed agent Saif Rubie has also had his licence suspended while Ian Elliott has been warned as to his future conduct.
An FA statement read: "It is alleged that Collymore touted the Luton Town player Enoch Showunmi to Millwall without the knowledge or consent of Luton and in breach of League rules. He has until 17 October to respond.
"Saif Rubie has had his agent's licence suspended following a Disciplinary Commission hearing on 29 September.
"Rubie was charged by the FA with breaching FA Rules for failing to provide information on request. The suspension of the licence is imposed until the requested information is provided to the FA. Rubie was also fined £600.
"Ian Elliott, has been warned to his future conduct following a Disciplinary Commission hearing on 19 September after admitting a charge of failing to lodge his representation contract with Sunderland player Grant Leadbitter."
