Luton Town boss Kevin Blackwell was baffled as to why Richard Jackson was told to leave the pitch to receive treatment for an injury during the defeat to Tranmere.
The Hatters led the game, which they eventually lost 2-1, when Jackson was ordered off so that he could receive attention for a blood injury, and while Blackwell's side were reduced to ten men, Tranmere equalised.
Blackwell fumed: "I couldn't see much blood. Whether the decision affected the result I don't know, but it's all very disappointing.
"The lads have worked hard and got nothing for it. We're not getting the breaks at present.
"I still don't know how we came to be beaten but that's the way it is and we'll have to improve on it."
