Luton Town boss Kevin Blackwell has praised the attitude of his players following the decision to defer their wages.
The crisis-torn League One club were placed into administration last month just days after being hit with over 50 charges alleging breach of regulations regarding payments to player agents by the Football Association.
"The players have been terrific and I can't speak highly enough of them," he told the club's official website.
"They trained exceptionally hard on Sunday morning and we had a long chat before training.
"The whole situation is out of our hands. We don't really know what is going on and so it is a difficult time for the players.
"However, they have handled it brilliantly. They haven't been paid since last October so when you think about it, it hasn't been about one or two days, it has been a while.
"There are a few players who are not really on much money. It's difficult for them, but we are trying to help them out where we can."
