Beckwith heads to Rugby

Luton Town goalkeeper Rob Beckwith has joined Southern League Premier Division side Rugby United on a month's loan.

The highly-rated 19-year-old has been unable to force his way into Mike Newell's promotion-chasing side this season because of the form of Marlon Beresford.

However, the Hatters are keen for him to get some more senior experience under his belt and hope he will feature regularly during his month at Butlin Road.

Beckwith has made 19 first-team appearances for Luton, but has not featured since October 2003.
