Watson: Luton defeat still hurts

John Akinde's seventh goal of the season for the Chairboys in the 56th minute was the difference between the sides in a tight game at Kenilworth Road. And Watson admitted the club's plight is hurting everyone at the club. "We're well, well pleased with the way they played and we can't have a go at the boys at all," he said. "We may have been relegated but it still hurts to lose games and the players were playing with pride and their futures at stake. "A lot of our players will go on to bigger and better things. Hopefully we can keep hold of them but it's only human nature that other clubs will be looking at them."
