Nicholls proud despite Luton plight

Nicholls, who made his 200th appearance for the Hatters in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Bury, is currently in his second spell at Kenilworth Road.[LNB]The 30-year-old initially joined from Wigan in 2001 and remained with the club for five years before moving to Leeds.[LNB]Nicholls signed for Preston in July 2007 but soon made a welcome return to Luton.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "I've played most of the games in my career at Luton and I'm proud of that fact.[LNB]"I'm proud to be a Luton Town player. I love the club and the fans and that's the reason why I came back."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
