Scott Griffiths poser for Luton against Plymouth

Luton manager John Still must decide whether to recall Scott Griffiths for Saturday's home League Two fixture with Plymouth.

The full-back has returned to the squad after being given time off, and therefore missing Luton's past three games, to be with his family having become a father for the first time.

Craig Mackail-Smith faces a late fitness test owing to a nerve problem in his neck, while fellow striker Paul Benson may feature following a persistent neck injury.

Stephen O'Donnell, however, is scheduled to have surgery on a hernia injury, and will therefore miss out.

Plymouth are set to be without top scorer Reuben Reid for the second successive game.

Reid, the Pilgrims' leading scorer for the past two seasons, had scored four goals in as many games before picking up a hip injury and missed Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Oxford when Plymouth suffered their first defeat in nine matches.

"He's probably doubtful for Saturday; it looks like he's out, but time will tell," Plymouth boss Derek Adams told the club's official website.

Graham Carey seems set to lead the attack at Kenilworth Road after starting the Oxford game in a deeper role behind Jake Jervis.
